Last updated: 2026-07-14

This Acceptable Use Policy defines what is allowed and prohibited when using FocusTutor AI. Its goal is to keep the Service safe and useful, especially for underage students. It is part of the Terms of Service.

1. Permitted use

The Service is for educational and personal use: studying your own school material, practicing with challenges and tracking progress (your own or that of the children/students in your care).

2. Prohibited

•Attempting to make the AI generate sexual, violent, hateful, discriminatory, dangerous or otherwise minor-inappropriate content.

•Attempting to bypass, disable or manipulate the tutor's safety filters ("jailbreaking", prompt injection or similar).

•Uploading illegal or malicious material, or material that infringes copyright or other third-party rights (upload only your own study material or material you are allowed to use).

•Uploading or requesting third parties' personal data without their consent.

•Sharing credentials, reselling access or using someone else's account.

•Providing false information at signup, including the declaration of legal age.

•Scraping, automating requests, overloading the Service or attempting to access other people's data or accounts.

•Using the Service to cheat on assessments where that violates your educational institution's rules.

3. Reporting

If you find inappropriate content, serious errors or security vulnerabilities, report them to the contact email in the Terms of Service. We appreciate responsible reports.

4. Consequences

Violating this Policy may result in warnings, feature suspension, account closure and, where applicable, notification to the responsible parent/guardian. Deliberate attempts to generate harmful content or breach security may be reported to the competent authorities.
